Each year, so many of us get the urge to detox, or start a cleanse, or maybe a new diet as part of our New Year’s resolutions. It’s really great that we have so much excitement about the year to come and how we can make it better than the year before.
But what about emotional cleansing from our past experiences? Too many times, we don’t even think about how our “baggage” from past experiences is affecting us and how important it is to clear that away so we can move forward with clarity and confidence into new areas of our lives.
Too often, we don’t see how our past experiences have led us exactly to where we are now, whether that turned out to be a good or bad thing. And in case of it being a bad thing, we certainly want to do everything we can to keep it from happening again.
This is why it’s so important to have a deeper understanding of how our choices have led us to where we are today, and how making new choices and clearing away the old emotional “junk” from our past can take us to amazing new places that we never imagined we would have the opportunity to experience.
What’s the best way to clear your “baggage” from the past?
There are a lot of ways out there, from EFT to energy healing to what I do with Akashic Records clearing. We each have different experiences with different types of work, and you have to pick what you feel works the best for you. When it comes down to it, however, understanding where it originated, along with your strong desire and intent to clear it is what matters. Spirit is there to help you with the rest, whether that is through a trained practitioner or a method you learned yourself.
Ultimately, setting the intent that you want to have a much better life going forward is the most important aspect of clearing away the past, because without that desire, you will not be able to identify what needs to be cleared in order for that to happen. And the more specific you set your goals for your future, such as a new job or car or income level, the more successful you will be at finding what is stopping you from reaching that goal.
